Join Age Friendly Half Moon Bay Coastside in Reaching Our Goals

As part of the application process, a Task Force of local leaders conducted a needs assessment through a series of seventeen focus groups. With the focus group input, the Task Force chose five projects to address the most pressing needs. Each project needs volunteers and community partners to reach Age Friendly HMBC goals and address unmet needs on the Coastside. The Projects are:

Age Friendly Half Moon Bay Coastside (Age Friendly HMBC)

is a coalition of City staff and Community advocates tasked with overseeing the development and implementation of the four inaugural projects and identifying future projects. We are looking for Coastside organizations, community groups, faith based organizations and community advocates.


Join the Communications Project

to improve how older adults receive communications and information about community support services and Coastside events.


Join the Coastside Healthcare Advocacy Committee

to gather information to successfully advocate for more Coastside healthcare resources and better transportation to medical appointments.


Join the Affordable Housing Search

and Applications Workshops project.


Join the Age Friendly

Business/Organization Training and Recognition project.
